How long will my order take to ship?
All Gumnut. pieces are made to order, this helps avoid fabric wastage and excess stock. For this reason, orders may take 1-3 weeks to ship. 

Once shipped, standard shipping can take 4-7 business days and express 1-3 business days depending on location. 

How do I order one of your custom pieces?
If you are selecting the 'custom' option for any of our products, we ask that you add details in the 'notes' section at checkout. Should you forget, please email us with your order number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What do you use for packaging?
Gumnut. ships items wrapped in Kraft paper. Our shipping bags, labels and sticky tape are compostable. 

Do you have multiple sizes?
At this stage, Gumnut. hats are one size fits most

Where are your products made?
Our products are lovingly handmade in our home on Dharawal Land (Wollongong, NSW, Australia)

Where do you source your fabrics?
Our fabrics are sourced from multiple locations including online stores and op-shops.

What kind of fabric do you use?
We use only natural fibres, such as linen, cotton, bamboo and merino. Many of our fabrics are recycled or deadstock to avoid buying into the fast fashion market. This also makes your pieces more unique and special. 

How do your swing tags work?
Our swing tags are made from 100% recycled paper and embedded with Swan River Daisy (Brachyscome iberidifolia) seeds. To plant our tags, soak them in water until soft, then lay where you would like to plant them. Cover lightly with soil and water. Germination can take anywhere from 7-21 days. 

What is Swan River Daisy?
Swan River Daisy (Brachyscome iberidifolia) is a beautiful, small, native flowering plant. They grow 25-40cm tall, boasting beautiful purple, daisy-like flowers. 

Although naturally occuring in WA, SA and NT, these hardy little flowers will grow in most climates and are moderately frost-tolerant. They most commonly flower in late Winter and Spring.
